In most of the Western literature and art, girls have generally been symbolised with virtue, innocence and purity. But, this is not always true. In many cases we often find girls acting smarter than the boys. In an examination hall, we may note many interesting activities that girls are indulged in. Quite unlike boys, in most of the general cases, the stress of examinations generally affect the girls more. Let us peep into some interesting activities that girls do during their exams.

Attention to Neatness and Tidiness: The house keeping nature of girls is reflected even during exams. The first thing that girls ensure before taking their seats is to make sure that they are clean enough. If not, they prefer cleaning them up with a piece of paper. They also check their pens and other belongings properly before starting up and also fold their answer papers in an orderly fashion every time.

Write: As soon as girls receive their question papers and answer booklets they start writing. Girls are blessed with the natural ability to compose. So, whether known or not, most of the answers are written. Of course we are not talking of all girls in this column. When compared to boys, girls take their exams quiet seriously!

Activities Done in Nervousness: When tensed, most of the girls either stuck hair behind their ears, bite nails or chew their pens. No matter how tough the question paper is, or how tensed they are, women always take care to ensure that they look presentable enough. And they also do not forget to check out the examiner especially if it is a good looking man.

Refill Sources: Girls are more often seen changing the refill of their pens and sharping their pencils than boys. This happens as most of them are in a habit of writing more and keeping their answer scripts clean. They take a few minutes to relax, fill their empty bottles, check if all the answer scripts are in a proper order or not. And then, they get back to writing again.

Take Extra Sheets Till the Last Minute: In co-ed schools it is mostly observed that girls take more answer sheets than boys. Most of the boys generally do not wait in the examination hall after their exams are over. But girls keep on taking answer sheets and write till the last moment. The more the number of answer sheets they take, the proud these girls feel. Girls feel they have fared well in exams, even before the results do the real talking.

The Final Showdown: Well if you are a believer in the old idea that girls cannot cheat then you are all wrong. Girls can be real good at it sometimes. Before the final bell rings they are all done with hall collection. They even have some real good places of hiding chits. Finally its the time for their last phase of writing and they are done only when their papers are taken away by the examiner.
