How Should You Behave As A Guest?

Considering the current lifestyle trends, there aren't even hands to help when too many people come home so being a guest in somebody's house is a little uncommon. But times are not the same always and if you and your family are forced to be guests, you need to how to behave and give less burden to the family. Take a look for tips.
How To Behave As A Guest?
1. As a guest, you need to inform the family about your arrival so that they can make the necessary preparation. For courtesy sake, you can add a point that you tried making alternative arrangements but it didn't work to your urgency. This will help him to discuss with his family and get back to you. Even if he isn't ready to accommodate, he will atleast plan for your stay in a nearby hotel etc.
2. Never depend on the homemaker to clean and cook for you as she may be loaded with work. Share work by purchasing stuff for home, be a good guest. Creating an impression is important when you know that you may visit them again.
3. Do not bother them too much by poking nose in their conversation. Avoid disturbing the family's privacy by keeping the telelvision volumes high. Seek their permission before you plan to use their items.
4. Carry your own set of cosmetics, winter wear, bed linen etc, do not think of sharing their stuff. Be a disciplined and well mannered guest. Also follow the dining, party and living room etiquette strictly.
5. To behave as a good guest, you need to greet them when you enter and leave home. Avoid meddling with their stuffs and gossips. Invite them for sight seeing, shopping or even a dinner for the cordial relationship they have with you.
