Social networking has taken the world by rage and needless to say that one of the most famous awards site is Facebook. This site rather than being a solution to communication needs, has also become a marketing tool. The site has allowed it's users to be the owner of their space and extend their reach of understanding others.

Apart from being a tool of communication, Facebook has also become one of the most popular and successful marketing tool. Websites, the F&B industry, Real estate, the film industry everyone has made Facebook as one of the major unit of promotion. With so many exciting features one cannot help but be a part of it.

As it is said, there are two sides of every coin and if one side is good the other is bad. With all privacy options we sometimes become careless and in our aim to be reachable, we may give away information which can be harmful for us. Lets look at some of the information one should never reveal in Facebook -

1.Path To Password – There are many bad elements who are also using Facebook for their own purpose. Don't use terms or clues to your password in your wall, or in your information. People never agree to this point but most of the time your favourite number or book etc if kept as password, is easily tracked. Thus, avoid giving out this information in Facebook.

2.Personal Life Details – Keep your personal life to yourself. Hasn't there been events when you get messages from unknown numbers who knows everything about you? Your information on Facebook might be the reason. Innocent pranks might not be a problem but if things go out of hand, t becomes a huge problem.

3.Day To Day Whereabouts – People like kidnappers, thief etc keep a track of peoples day to day timings. Thus, don't put this information on Facebook. This will only help people to track you down. This also involves your holiday plans.

4.Revealing Pictures - uploading your image in Facebook is no problem but there are some who go on to upload pictures which are obscene or involves there personal life. This is harmful not only as your picture can be used in several inappropriate ways but also because now banks too visit your Facebook site to know about you and on that basis your loans are passed. You agree with it or not, it is the truth.

5.Discussions On Issues – During the Babri Masjid hearing Day some men from Kerala were taken into custody for supporting a group over Facebook and through SMS. Your take on sensitive issues can create a havoc. You might also involve yourself into something. Thus, don't reveal it in Facebook.

Thus, while using Facebook, keep in mind not to reveal these informations to keep your social networking hassle free.
