Generally the public respect the mothers who are not working full time. They devalue the full-time-working mothers relative to the non-employed mothers. The children of the working mothers have the chances to get troubled. The relationship between the mother and the baby, also may become problematic.
“People like mothers who fulfill traditional stereotypes, like staying at home. That's just not a reality and not a preference for women as much as it used to be," says Jennifer Livengood, a student in psychology.
