Though British people consume around 165 cups of tea every day, they are not able to describe its taste, says a new study.

If asked about the taste, they are not able to describe it better than a mere 'hot' or 'nice'. For them it was 'hard to explain' it.

The other words to explain tea include 'calming' and 'reviving'.

Some people find it as 'wazzy' if the tea is weak.

Strong tea are better called by the names 'brickie's tea' or 'brown paint'.

scots call tea 'peely wally', where as the tea-drinkers in Black Country says it 'bostin'.

The surveys conducted on the topic also say that French people have hundreds of words to describe the taste of wine, but most Brits struggle to be descriptive when asked about the national drink.
