Almost everybody in the world want to Barck Obama's triumph story that shattered racial barriers and forever altered the political landscape. To meet this desperate need the New York Times has put together a book, named "Obama: The Historic Journey," which features photos and essays depicting US President-elect Barack Obama's life.

According to the sources 240-page book will be published on Presidents Day, Feb. 16, 2009, by Callaway Arts & Entertainment and The New York Times and distributed by Riverhead

The much-awaited book will talk about Obama's journey, starting from his childhood to his historical win as the 44th President of America.

The "heavily illustrated book cover[s] Barack Obama's life, from his childhood through his inauguration as the 44th president of the United States, with a final chapter that includes the inaugural address and a 32-page photo essay by 12 New York Times staff photographers," according to today's Publisher's Marketplace.

The Times Executive Editor Bill Keller is writing the introduction, and there will be contributors from op-ed stars like Frank Rich, Thomas Friedman, Paul Krugman, Maureen Dowd, David Brooks and Gail Collins.
