Daniel Tammet
He is a British high-functioning autistic savant who is greatly gifted with mathematical calculations, sequence memory and natural language learning. He has a record for memorising and recounting pi to 22,514 digits in just over five hours. Apart from this, he speaks in over 11 different languages.

He lost his eyesight at the age of 3 years due to cancer, but he never let it destroy its ability to see the world and experience it. At the age of 5, he learnt to echo-locate by making a clicking sound with his mouth and was able to lead a normal life. But, as fate had it, he passed away at the age of 16 due to cancer.

He was the inspiration for Rain Man. Though he scored only 87% in the IQ test, he showed remarkable talents in memorisation and other aspects. He had the ability to read two different pages at the same time! He could recite 12,000 books and memorise Quran in just 10 minutes! He passed away at the age of 58 years.
