Michelle Obama Jump-ropes In China Visit
The 50-year-old First Lady of America, Michelle Obama visited China's Terra-Cotta army and jump-roped with rural women and kids. Michelle along with daughters Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, visited Xi'an City Wall where the First Lady did some jump-roping in front of the local people.
Michelle Obama was in the ancient city for a five-hour sightseeing tour and visited the historical sites of Xi'an. "As I watched these performances and demonstrations, I was struck by how this wall, which was constructed as a physical blockade, now serves as a symbolic connection between China's past and present," Michelle wore on her blog after visiting the site.
She continued, "There you stand, on top of a wall that's hundreds of years old - a wall that has withstood war and famine and the rise and fall of dynasties. Yet when you look down, you realize that below you on both sides lies a city not too different from one you'd see in America - a city full of cars and bustling commercial districts, but also quiet residential areas."

Michelle and her family also visited the 600-year-old Xi'an city wall which spans nine miles and reaches 40 feet high (the oldest and most well-preserved defensive city wall in the country). A ceremony was conducted in her honour at the city wall which included men dressed in military uniforms of Tang Dynasty warriors and folk dancers.
What happened next was a treat to the eyes. A group of young local school children greeted the First Lady and her kids. The students performed tricks like shuttlecock kicking, and a young lady invited the gorgeous Michelle Obama for jump-rope. The First Lady said yes and immediately changed from her kitten heels into flats for the jump-roping.
Michelle Obama makes sure that she gathers all the fashion gurus' attention at any place she visits. This time as well, Michelle looked gorgeous in a monochrome printed long top with black pants. At times, Michelle carried a black three-quarter high low hemline shrug jacket. Michelle completed her day look with black kitten heels.
