The royal Duchess of Cambridge doesn't mind repeating her designer outfits. Kate has given her first public appearance in 2014 and she has recycled the Jenny Packham gown we have seen on the Duchess of Cambridge earlier.

We had already seen Kate Middleton wear the royal Jenny Packham gown and this time she has repeated it all over again. Kate Middleton was attending the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in central London. Kate who is a patron wore a floor length gown from British designer Jenny Packham's Autumn Winter 2013 Collection. Kate Middleton's Jenny Packham navy blue coloured dress features a v-neck, short sleeves and a black velvet belt on the waist.

The off the shoulder silk tulle gown by Jenny Packham had a wrapped front. The chic cap sleeves of the off shoulder Jenny Packham gown was a little sheer and Kate Middleton looked gorgeous as always!

What added the royal touch to the first public appearance of Kate Middleton in 2014 was her glittering diamond necklace which was borrowed from the Queen. The Cartier diamond necklace which is known as the Nizam of Hyderabad, was given to Queen Elizabeth II on her wedding in 1947.

Last time we saw Kate Middleton in the navy blue Jenny Packham way back in October 2013 at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds event. The event was held just one day after George's christening. For that appearance, Kate kept the look simple.

When compared, Kate Middleton looked breathtakingly beautiful in the navy blue Jenny Packham gown in both the appearances. However, we just loved the second look where Kate borrowed the Nizam of Hyderabad necklace and added the glittering glamour to the overall look. The sparkling diamond necklace that Kate loaned from Queen Elizabeth II added the touch of elegance. Other celebrities like Elizabeth Hurley, Bryan Adams, David Bailey etc were also present at the event.
