IIJW 2014: Swarovski Presents 'Brides Of India'
On Day 2 of IIJW 2014, Swarovski presented an amazing show titled 'Brides'. In this show, there were brides from different regions of India dressed in traditional attire and portraying the best jewellery designs from their region. So far, this has been the most elaborate and novel show at IIJW 2014. The India International Jewellery Week 2014 has gone a step higher by incorporating a touching and vivid theme like this one.
The Swarovski show at IIJW 2014 began with the 'Brides Of Punjab'. The Punjabi actress Simran Kaur Mundi opened the show dressed in traditional lehenga choli like a Punjabi bride. She was followed by a set of models dressed as 'Brides Of Bengal' in red and white sarees. This was followed up by the 'Brides Of Southern India' who wore Kanjeevaram sarees and typical South Indian gold jewellery.
There were also some 'Christian Brides' in white virginal gowns and appropriate jewellery. There where also 'Brides Of Maharashtra' dressed in yellow and green saree as well as lehengas. The 'Muslim Brides Of India' followed suit velvet and brocade. Zoya Afroz was dressed as a Muslim bride for the ramp.

Brides Of Punjab
Simran Kaur Mundi, a Punjabi actress and model opened the show for Swarovski as a bride from Punjab. She wore a magenta lehenga choli and diamond jewellery.

Brides Of Bengal
The 'Brides Of Bengal' were dressed in red and white sarees. The draped their sarees in traditional Bengali style and wore matching jewellery of diamond and rubies.

Brides Of Southern India
The brides from the south were dressed in Kanjeevaram sarees and adorned their hair with flowers. They wore traditional gold jewellery from South India.

Christian Brides
The Christian brides wore their serenely white gowns and displayed eloquent diamond jewellery from Swarovski.

Brides Of Maharashtra
The Maharashtrian brides were dressed in yellow as per tradition. They were decked with pearl and golden jewellery.

Brides Of Gujrat
Model and actress Pooja Chopra was dressed as a bride from Gujarat. She wore traditional red and white lehenga choli along with splendid jarao jewellery.

Muslim Brides Of India
Model and actress Zoya Afroz was a demure Muslim bride dressed in velvet and brocade. She wore dazzling gold and diamond jewellery befitting a bride.

The Doli
For the final leg of the show, a doli arrived on the stage carrying the main celebrity showstopper.

Zarine Khan
Zarine Khan alighted from the doli looking like a perfect Indian bride. She looked stunning in this lehenga choli with heavy zari work. She also wore a collar necklace covering her entire bosom with a tiara and nose ring.
The last part of the collection featured 'Brides Of Gujarat' dressed ghatchola lehenga cholis. Finally, the main celebrity showstopper for this IIJW 2014 show Zarine Khan arrived in a doli. She was dressed in a red and yellow lehenga choli with heavy zari work and breathtaking jarao jewellery.
