Hair accessories are not something we usually notice in a collection of apparel. However, this time we have been totally dazzled by the use of hair jewellery in Anju Modi's ICW 2014 collection. Anju Modi's bridal collection for India Couture Week was titled 'Manikarnika', which literally means 'the girl with bejewelled ears'. That is why; the stress on dazzling jewellery can be completely understood.

On Day 2 of ICW 2014, we saw the models for Anju Modi decked up in hair accessories and jewellery that came from Shree Rajmahaj Jewellers. The jewellery used to adorn the hair of models was hand-picked by the CEO of the company himself. The brilliance of this antique jewellery only enhanced the look of these models manifold.

Hair jewellery is one of the most important aspects of dressing up a bride. That is why; the mutual relationship between the bridal outfits and the hair accessories was completely symbiotic. All the models had lovely accessories to complete their look. The showstopper Kangana Ranaut herself was decked up in amazing detailed hair accessories.

The Floral Bun Pin

Pins that are used for tying up a bun are often embellished with details and pattern. This floral pins and the chain pattern really makes the hairstyle come alive.

This gold and beaded head gear makes the model looks like an Egyptian queen. You can add beads to the tiara that match your clothes.

The Pearl Tiara

This slim layered tiara had lots of pearls studded into it. This tiara has amazing layers and fit the model like a crown.

The bun is covered with layers of golden chains that looked totally chic. There were also two gold jhumkas that adorned the models coffered bun.

Here golden antique jhumkas have been used to decorate the model's hair. The floating jhumkas give a very ornate look to the hairstyle.

Here the model's bun has been adorned with a combination of balls and chains. These balls and chains form a web over the model's hair.

Bejewelled hair combs have also been used to add glamour to the model's hairstyle. Using hair combs is a very old fashion trend that has been revamped now.

The Showstopper

The celebrity show-stopper Kangana Ranaut also sported some really chic golden combs in her hair. The combs were shaped like 'C' and completed Kangana's look with a mesmerising effect.
