It is not every day that we see the first lady of Bollywood make a solo show but then we were graced with one recently. Gauri Khan is currently in Dubai and was therefore absent from the IPL matches this season. In fact she was not to be seen even on the day of the IPL finals when Kolkata Knight Riders lifted the cup for the second time. Gauri Khan was seen in a Dolce & Gabbana dress at an Dubai event.

Gauri Khan was at the First Ferry Press Meet in Dubai. The ‘Queen' Khan is actually starting her own line of designer merchandise with the brand First Ferry. Gauri Khan was in a Dolce & Gabbana classic lace dress. Gauri Khan looked stunning in black.

Gauri Khan was in Dolce & Gabbana lace number looked totally cool on her. At the First Ferry press meet, Gauri Khan wore her Dolce & Gabbana lace dress with a twist. We have seen Gauri pose for a fashion magazine in a very similar sheath dress before.

The black dress was V-necked and did not have a very deeply plunging neckline. You also cannot say that the dress is very similar to the ramp version. The original Dolce and Gabbana dress has been heavily lined with black cloth from underneath. That somehow takes away some part of the dress's detailing. A sheer Dolce & Gabbana works best with original D&G undergarments. Gauri Khan was obviously trying make the dress more ‘age appropriate' with her adaptations.

Gauri Khan wore this black knee length dress with golden high heel peep toes with ankle straps. We love the jewel encrusted golden peep toe heels. And we also love the way Gauri Khan has gone for no signature accessories save the incredibly expensive watch she is wearing. The look is simple and Gauri Khan went for a half pony hairstyle with her fringes pinned up behind her head and the rest of her hair loose. A nice enough look for us but it could have been a proper Dolce Gabbana lace sensation that would blow your mind.
