Bride-To-Be: Dia Mirza In Chandari Anarkali
Can you hear the wedding bells? Bollywood actress Dia Mirza will soon be marrying longtime partner Sahil Sangha. We spotted the happy couple at their mehendi ceremony looking adorable together. Complementing each other in bright outfits, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha wore traditional outfits for their big day.
Dia Mirza wore a Ritu Kumar suit while Sahil had a simple red kurta and bandhgala jacket. Both these colours on the couple were pleasant to the eyes. At the mehendi ceremony, we did not get to see known faces, but we are sure some of the tinseltown beauties and hunks attended the event!
The marigold yellow chandari anarkali on Dia Mirza is a Ritu Kumar collection. The multi panelled outfit has a vintage cut which is used in the courts of Agra around the 15th century. The plunging neckline of the bridal wear is deep and worked in embroidered gota Patti on net.

The gold metallic taar that used is of silver worked in gold thread and dori. This is used to give it a stylised plant inlay look. Each panel on the Ritu Kumar anarkali Dia MIrza is wearing is high lighted with a flowering buta. The odhni is fuschia worked with small butis of the same beaten gold gota patti, a fuschia brocade deep sinjaf finishes the edges of the entire suit.
Dia Mirza styled her Ritu Kumar chandari anarkali with palazzo spotted purple pants. The pants were enormous at the ankle and were golden polka dotted to match her purple dupatta. At the border of the anarkali, it was decked up with gold and minute detailing. Heavy jewellery on her neck and rolls of jasmine around her braid added essence to her wedding celebrations. Loud makeup and a mang tilak on her forehead made her look the most beautiful bride-to-be.
Her husband-to-be Sahil Sangha looked dashing in red. He finished his look with a matching Nehru jacket and white churidar pajama. A yellow pocket square and brown boots wrapped his wedding look.
Strangely, this is the very same Ritu Kumar chandari anarkali Dia Mirza wore for a shoot, but with different jewellery.
