Celebs Shine At Royal Marsden Dinner

The Windsor Castle came alive yesterday as the stars alighted on the red carpet to celebrate the work of Marsden, which happens to be one of Late Princess Diana's favourite charitable hospitals. Prince William who is also the Duke of Cambridge played host to many Hollywood celebrities and fashion personalities for the Royal Marsden dinner this year. Duchess Kate Middleton however was missing from the Royal Marsden Gala Dinner.

The Royal Marsden dinner was hosted in honour of the charitable trust that received patronage from Princess Diana. Prince William has succeeded his mother as the President of this trust. Celebrities were lined up on the guest list of the Royal Marsden Gala dinner. We had Emma Watson, Cate Blanchett, Kate Moss, Margot Robbie and Benedict Cumberbatch in attendance. Surprisingly, most of these celebrities were in Ralph Lauren for the occasion.

The British fashion designer Ralph Lauren himself was in attendance at this private royal dinner to honour the work of the Royal Marsden Cancer Trust hospital. We do not know if so many celebrities chose to wear Ralph Lauren by coincidence or by design. However, we missed Britain's most popular fashion icon, Duchess Kate Middleton at the event, as she stayed home with the 10 month old Prince George.

Emma Watson looked pristine in a grey side pleated fluid skirt and a structured button down white shirt. Ralph Lauren is Emma Watson's favourite anyway so no surprises there.

Emma Watson carried no signature accessories save a grey box clutch and a slim metallic belt. Her deep wine red lips completed her styling which was just totally perfect.

Cate Blanchett in Ralph Lauren

Oscar 2014 winner Cate Blanchett was like a statue of grace and elegance in this white one shoulder column gown from Ralph Lauren. The gown had a half cape design that covered half of Cate's arms.

Cate Blanchett wore amazing diamond chandelier earrings and carried a suave cream coloured clutch. She side swept her newly cut short hair and went with some simple yet radiant makeup.

Margot Robbie In Ralph Lauren

Margot Robbie also came to the Marsden Dinner in a grey Ralph Lauren gown that was full sleeved and had a wrapped bodice. The gown had a scooped out back.

Margot Robbie wore gemstone earrings and carried a matching steel grey clutch to complete her look. She had her hair up in messy bun to show off her back in this Ralph Lauren gown.

Kate Moss

Kate Moss was seen at the dinner in a black thigh-high slit gown. The British model's gown had lace details and she left her hair open for the occasion.

The fashion designer Ralph Lauren was himself present at the Royal Marsden Dinner to honour the work of this charitable trust.

Benedict Cumberbatch

The famous star of the television series 'Sherlock' was seen in a black tuxedo attending the Royal Marsden Dinner.

Prince William was seen mingling with his fashionable guests as he put the Royal Windsor castle to very good use. He attended to his Hollywood guests in style but without his fashionable wife by his side.
