Nicole Kidman is famously known as the 'Ice Maiden' of Hollywood. Being blonde does help when you have to look icy and cold. And we have always loved Nicole Kidman's blonde long locks. But recently, she has sheered these long locks in favour of a bob cut. Nicole Kidman's new haircut has as many lovers as it has haters.

The bob cut looks very similar to Victoria Beckham's hairstyle. The same longish bob cut that stops right over the shoulders has been sported by Posh Spice for years. We saw Nicole Kidman's haircut for the first time at the New York Fashion Week, 2013. We also saw glimpses of Nicole Kidman's new haircut at the Toronto Film Festival, 2013. Our first thoughts were that the hairstyle was really stylish. But on second thoughts, the new haircut doesn't really suit Nicole.

The long blonde hair was a part of Nicole's feminine charm. The bob cut makes her look slightly rough and a little less graceful. In fact, Nicole also seems to look much more aged with short hair. Besides we have never really seen Nicole Kidman in hair that is cut so short. She has always maintained shoulder length hair.

First Look

This was our first look at Nicole Kidman's haircut as she stepped out of her car at the New York Fashion Week 2013.

The Fall

Nicole Kidman fell down just outside the New York Fashion Week venue and ruined her new hairstyle.

Long Bob Cut

At a closer look, Nicole's haircut can be described as a long bob cut. It looks very similar to Victoria Beckham's haircut.

Large Forehead

But this bob cut seems to highlight Nicole Kidman's large forehead a bit too much. Her temples look exposed and a bit bare.

Side Parted Messy Look

Nicole attempted the side parted messy look with this hairstyle. But the loose locks did not really set off her looks that well.

Permed Hair

The same evening we saw Nicole with permed hair. We liked the curly look of Nicole bob cut even less than the straight one.

At Toronto

At the Toronto Film Festival, Nicole Kidman's haircut was looking too severe. When tied up, the bob cut looked very flat.

We are more used to seeing Nicole Kidman like this. Her long straight hair is one of her best assets, but now she has chopped it off!

Head To Head

We prefer Nicole Kidman with long lustrous blonde hair any day. So Nicole Kidman's new haircut is a big 'nay' for us!
