Lady Gaga's Twitter Page Deleted!

On the morning of 10th July 2013, the unthinkable and unexpected thing happened on Twitter. You would never have guessed that Lady Gaga deleted her Twitter account yesterday morning. It could also be that Lady Gaga's Twitter account got wiped out magically from the face of the Internet. Both ways, it leaves her Twitter followers in a pretty confused state.

If we had to name 5 celebrities who are super active on Twitter, Lady Gaga is definitely in the list. Until recently she had the highest number of Twitter followers too. But Justin Bieber beat her with the increasing number of Twitter followers. Lady Gaga's Twitter followers placed her at second position in the most popular followers list. The actual number is something like 39,000,000 and still counting.

On Wednesday morning, when her followers opened Lady Gaga's Twitter page, it said that the page was temporarily out of service. Even Lady Gaga's profile picture was also deleted from the account. Instead of her profile picture, all you could see was the eggshell that is Twitter's default picture for those who have not uploaded a profile pic! And all the numerous photos of the Monster Mother in her various moods was gone too. You can hardly imagine the horror that Lady Gaga's Monsters must have experienced.

Now, what might have prompted Lady Gaga to delete her Twitter account? We have no reason to believe that she had a sudden change of heart and decided that Twitter was too much of noise. Is Lady Gaga having a spiritual awakening and thus wants to keep herself off the social circuit? Or has she suddenly discovered the virtues of keeping one's private life 'private'? These wild guesses do not seem to go very well with Lady Gaga's personality. It seems much more probable that she is working on a new look and will spring a surprise on us very soon.
