Kate Middleton Goes Maternity Shopping
As soon as it was announced that Kate Middleton is pregnant, the entire fashion fraternity went into frenzy. Every one was trying to guess what would be in the maternity wardrobe of the Duchess of Cambridge. Since Kate Middleton is a fashion icon, her maternity clothes and style is expected to be massively trendsetting. So far, a pregnant Kate Middleton has kept her baby bump under the raps.
That is why we have some great news! Kate Middleton went shopping for maternity clothes in London. And guess what, Kate Middleton was not doing her maternity shopping from Harrods or any other high fashion store. She stays loyal to her favourite high-street shopping even during her pregnancy. Kate Middleton's maternity shopping has been very frugal till now.

According to a British tabloid, Kate Middleton brought a simple maternity dress that cost a meager 55 dollars or 37 pounds from Top Shop. The dress is from the brand Deidre and it is expected to spark off a huge trend. A pregnant Kate Middleton brought a sheath dress with a crossed Mandarin collar and a stretchable waist to comfort her growing baby bump.
Kate Middleton's earlier maternity shopping spree has been equally economical and humble. She was seen in the Gap store last month browsing through some maternity clothes. She also shopped at Selfridges, which is a high end departmental store in UK. However, a pregnant Kate Middleton still loves high street shopping. The essence of Kate Middleton's style statement is to pick up something very ordinary from high street, accesorise it and turn it into an ensemble fit for royalty.
So far, Kate Middleton has not been seen wearing maternity clothing explicitly. She seems to fit into her old clothes even when she is 5 months pregnant. Recently she attended a wedding with a royal family. She was covered head to toe in expensive fur and we did not really get a glimpse of her baby bump. She also wore high heels but was extremely cautious while walking.
