Hollywood and the paparazzi has been often accused of glorifying abusive relationships among celebrity couples. But then Hollywood is totally littered with abusive relationships. Can you really blame the media for covering them. The most recent example would be Chris Brown and Rihanna who are media's darling and are in an openly abusive relationship.

Many celebrity couples have filed for divorce or blamed their breakup to domestic violence. Often, drug abuse had a part to play in these cases of violence. It is not like celebrity couples are more prone to abusive relationships. Violence and abuse is part of many household. But when it comes to Hollywood celebrities, the violence gets a lot of media attention.
