Addiction to drugs is nothing strange or unseen. There are many celebrities who are addicted to drugs or weed. While few are carrying on with their addiction, there are many celebrities who are battling to get over it. Going to rehab is something which most of the celebrities are doing to battle their addiction to drugs. Lindsay Lohan is the current example who is battling drug addiction in a rehab.

Many celebrities have lost their lives due to this addiction. Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson are few names who have lost thir life to drug addiction. There are is a sad end to these celebrities who were very addicted to drugs and lost their lives for it. If you take a close look at the musicians, most of them have died due to drug overdose. Unfortunately, more than 20 musicians have enrolled in the Forever 27 club. The list of unfortunate deaths at the age of 27 includes Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain to name a few.

Lets take a look at the celebrities who have lost it to drug addiction.

Whitney Houston

In February 2012, Whitney's dead body was found submerged in a bathtub. After lots of research, reports showed traces of cocaine in the dead body.

Heath Andrew Ledger

The handsome Australian actor died of high dosage of intoxicating oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam.

Jim Morrison

At the age of 27, Jim died due to his addiction to drugs. Jim died due to heroin overdose.

Kurt Cobain

Although the guitarist shot himself, a high concentration of heroin and traces of diazepam were found in his body.

Jimmy Hendrix

The greatest instrumentalist in the rock history too lost to drug addiction! He was one of the celebrities who was addicted to drugs and died of depression and drug overdose.

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. Even after several attempts at rehab, MJ lost it!
