Alia Bhatt's Great Gatsby inspired photoshoot is making big news in the fashion circles. This young girl is making quite a few heads turn in the fashion world. She is also set to appear on the cover of Harper's Bazaar this month. But her photoshoot for the Bazaar is no where close to the exotic Great Gatsby look that Alia Bhatt carried for Bunglow 8.
Bunglow 8 is a high end boutique in Mumbai that has roped in Alia Bhatt to do this Great Gatsby inspired photoshoot for them. The look of the photoshoot is obviously taken from the famous movie Great Gatsby that released at Cannes Film Festival 2013. The look is a sizzling stance right out of the 1920s. The most interesting part of the look are the tiaras and headbands.
Reputed designer Deepa Gurnani has designed the accessories for Alia Bhatt's Great Gatsby look. This photoshoot gets the flavour of a 1920s casino because of her accessories. The headbands are particularly fascinating. It is no surprise because Deepa Gurnani has designed headbands for international celebrities like Paris Hilton and Katie Holmes as well.

The Ensemble
At first glance, you may feel that Alia Bhatt is posing as an Egyptian princess. Later you realise that the silver dress is fit for a casino.
Robe Like Gown
The dress that Alia Bhatt is wearing in this photoshoot is silver in colour. It has a robe-like fall to it and is clasped with an embellished silver belt.
Head Gear
Alia Bhatt's headgear was designed by Deepa Gurnani. It is very similar to tiara like headbands worn by Isla Fisher in the movie Great Gatsby.
Styling
Alia Bhatt's authentic 1920s look required a great deal of styling talent to put together. Her entire ensemble was styled by Archana Walavalkar. And the outcome is more than stunning.
Merlot Coloured Lipstick
It is very hard to get the perfect makeup for a period look like the Great Gatsby. But the deep merlot (deep wine) coloured lipstick looked just perfect on Alia.
Silver Braclets
The chunky silver bracelets were almost like a warrior's bracelet. These bracelets that looked like bangles clubbed together gave authenticity to her vintage look.
Square Hair Accessories
Alia Bhatt had her hair pinned up on one side with 3 large and square silver hair clips. This added to the jazzy feel of the costume.
Hairdo
Alia's hair was curled and allowed to fall in a short and messy heap. Her hair styling was done by Priyanka Borkar.
