‘Golden Ratio' Most Beautiful Woman In The World Revealed, List Also Features A Popular Indian Actress
Beauty is a multifaceted concept that has evolved significantly over time, influenced by cultural, social, and historical contexts. Physical beauty, in particular, has been a subject of fascination, debate, and admiration across civilizations. Defining what makes a woman physically beautiful is a complex task, as beauty standards vary widely around the world. However, several common elements and themes emerge when exploring the attributes associated with physical beauty in women.
Historically, beauty standards have been dictated by societal norms, art, and literature. In ancient Greece, beauty was synonymous with symmetry, proportion, and harmony. The Greeks admired athletic and well-proportioned bodies, and their sculptures reflect these ideals.

Well, recently, Anya Taylor-Joy has been named the most beautiful woman in the world, based on an ancient mathematical formula. The 28-year-old actress from "The Queen's Gambit" was found to align closely with the Greeks' concept of perfection, known as the "golden ratio".
Her facial features, including her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and overall shape were meticulously measured by cosmetic surgeons. These measurements revealed that her face is 94.66% in line with the ideal ratio of 1.618, often represented by the Greek letter phi.
What Is Golden Ratio?
The golden ratio is a mathematical equation created by the Greeks to quantify beauty. This ratio can be applied to various objects and was famously used by Leonardo Da Vinci in his artwork "Vitruvian Man" to depict the perfect human male body.
Dr Julian De Silva, a Harley Street cosmetic surgeon who conducted the scans, told The Sun, "Anya Taylor-Joy was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection." He noted that her eyes scored exceptionally high at 98.9%, although her lips slightly lowered her overall score.
Top Contenders For Beauty
Actress Zendaya came in second place with a score of 94.37%, her lips being just 0.5% away from perfection. Model Bella Hadid secured third place with a chin score of 99.7%. Other notable mentions include Margot Robbie and Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and popular Indian actress Alia Bhatt.
Dr De Silva explained that these advanced computer mapping techniques help demystify what makes someone physically attractive and are beneficial for planning cosmetic surgeries.
The premise behind this concept is that the closer a person's facial or bodily ratios are to 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they appear. Anya Taylor-Joy's high scores across various facial features underscore this theory.
The top ten most beautiful women according to the golden ratio are:
1. Anya Taylor-Joy - 94.66%
2. Zendaya - 94.37%
3. Bella Hadid - 94.35%
4. Margot Robbie - 93.43%
5. Song Hye-kyo - 92.67
6. Beyoncé - 92.4%
7. Taylor Swift - 91.64%
8. Zhang Ziyi - 91.51%
9. Alia Bhatt - 91.14%
10. Nazanin Boniadi - 90.89%
