Tamil Actress Trisha Appeals To Adopt Stray Dogs!
The “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa" hit actress with People for Ethical Treatment of Animals has claimed public appeal to shelter stray dogs than bringing home foreign pedigree breeds.
The actress said that stray dogs can very well be trained in good homes. She also pointed out to the wide misconception held of stray dogs being of no use in a formal event.
Tamil film actress Trisha Krishnan, has joined hands with People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in issuing a public appeal to domesticate stray dogs and not crave for pedigreed foreign breeds.
At a formal event hosted here on Thursday Krishnan said there is a misconception that stray dogs are of no use.
The actress cast a beautiful smile and posed with a dog mascot with a heart shaped placard reading, “Love Indian dogs, Adopt, don't buy!"
Ambika Shukla, Director of Communications, PETA also said that the Indian dogs were bright, brave and beautiful and all that they need is love and respect !
