Harry Connick Jr. Interacts With American Idol Contestants

Harry Connick Jr. the American singer, actor, composer and pianist took a session for the top five contestants of the ninth season of American Idol. He talked about the singing styles of legendary performer, Frank Sinatra.

The American Idol show had dedicated a special week on the style of Frank Sinatra. The week came to an end with rocking performances by all the contestants. Frank Sinatra was not only a singer but also an actor who did some work as a producer.

"I had a chance to really spend some time with them and as you all know these contestants are just great, they"re great singers and they"re learning a lot. The great thing about it for me is how humble they were through the process," said Connick on the show.

Each one of the contestants were assigned a song to perform. Lee DeWyze was given That"s Life, Crystal Bowersox was asked to sing Summer Wind, Casey with Blue Skies, Fly Me to the Moon for Aaron Kelly and The Way You Look Tonight for Michael Lynch.
