Female Robot To Catwalk The Japanese Ramp

The robot called the HRP-4C is over 60 inches in height and weighs about 95 pounds. The black haired Robot designed by the scientists of National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology as a "cybernetic human" looks like an average Japanese woman.
However, the robot still needs to meet the standards to walk the ramp with human models.
"Technologically, it hasn't reached that level," the Daily Express quoted Hirohisa Hirukawa, one of the robot's developers as saying.
"Even as a fashion model, people in the industry told us she was short and had a rather ordinary figure," Hirukawa added.
The scientists also said that the robot could be used to attract attention in amusement parks, events and simulations of human movement such as exercise instructor.
The female robot, though unclothed will make its appearance in the Tokyo fashion show in a section allotted specially for it next week.
