Top 7 Best energy Sources

The study was carried out by Mark Jacobson of the atmosphere and energy programme at Stanford University, US. They focused on the most desirable forms of energy, with biofuels from corn and plant waste hitting the bottom along with the nuclear power and coal.
The most promising energy sources are wind, concentrated solar power (mirrors heating a tower of water), geothermal energy, tidal energy, solar panels, wave energy, and, hydroelectric dams. The list was compiled after the affect of each of the fuels were individually calculated to power the US fleets of vehicles.
Apart from that, the ecological effects, green house gases and the problems of water and land pollutions were also considered. The fuels were also ranked as per the the key source availability and the energy form's reliability.
"The energy alternatives that are good are not the ones that people have been talking about the most," said Jacobson.
