Shilpa Shetty On Inner Peace And Oneness
Bollywood actor, Shilpa Shetty, on Wednesday, chose the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as the venue to talk about inner peace and oneness. Her target audience were traders who are losing sleep over the looming global economic recession and falling stock prices.
A self-confessed fitness freak who has been practicing yoga for years, Shetty is now promoting Oneness University's spiritual message of oneness. She said that in today's world full of work pressure and tensions, people need to give importance to personal relationships and respect and love each other unconditionally.
"The oneness movement has made a huge difference to my life. I got introduced to it by accident, but in the last seven to eight months I have got introduced to it, my life, I can say this with complete confidence that I have seen a drastic change in the way I perceive people, in the way I perceive my life, my success, my pain and I just think that it's so important for each one of us on a human level to awaken our consciousness," said Shetty while releasing a book 'Awakening into Oneness' at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Shetty also claimed that the younger generation of Indians are drifting away from their roots and culture. The actor is these days busy hosting "Big Boss", the Indian version of the British reality TV show "Celebrity Big Brother", which she unexpectedly won last year.
