David Beckham is considering terminating his 2m pounds deal with fizzy drinks firm , and launching his own brand of bottled water.

is still very much willing to extend the former England Captain"s contract, expiring this year, and is leaving no stone unturned to persuade him to stay.

"David Beckham has had a fantastic relationship with - it's one of the longest running contracts in its history," The Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.

"But after 10 years he feels there are other things he could do. He is a global brand in himself and there is more scope for him to promote his own products. He has an idea for creating a range of healthy products, including water. That's something Co might develop with him.

"David is keen to go down the healthy route to keep in with his sporty image. And is desperate to keep him. So who knows..." the source added.

Becks" dip in water might please the Consumer Association's Which? Magazine, that condemned his promoting fizzy drinks after he starred in an advert for 's social net-working site, youniverse.com.
