Jarvis Reunites With Lost Father

Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker has been reunited with his long-lost father. He left his father when he was just seven. Javis is now a solo artist. The 'Common People' singer, now 43, flew out to Australia with his sister Saskia to meet up with dad Mack.

Over the years Jarvis built up a mental image of what his father might be like, but his imaginary dad was nothing like the real one.

Jarvis admits the reunion was far from a happy occasion, and left him disappointed.

"If this happened on a TV show we'd all have been in floods of tears and declaring how much we loved each other. But although we are biologically related it was like meeting someone I didn't know. We didn't have a parent-child relationship."

The pop star has a four-year-old son Albert now.
