photography exhibition
Kolkata, Nov 25 (UNI) More than 800 photographs from all over India will be on display during a week long colour photography exhibition on different shades of nature to be held here from December one.
It would be organised under the banner of 'Third Eye', a well known photographic institution in the East.
The exhibition and the subsequent contest for selecting the three best photographs would be inaugurated by social worker Mira Bhattacherjee, also the wife of Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacherjee. A large number of award winning photographs in other fora will be on dispaly.
The annual exhibition, arguably the largest of its kind in eastern India, would precede a similar one of black and white photographs, to be held later next month.
Meanwhile, 'Third Eye' spokesperson Atanu Paul today claimed that no modern photographic trick would be allowed in any of the participating photographs.
