NE Adivasi Cultural Festival in Feb '07

Guwahati, Oct 30 (UNI) North East Adivasis' Cultural Festival and Fair-2007 will be held here in February, 2007 to promote literature and cultural activities.

An international standard of research publication would be brought out on the occasion in which eminent reseach scholars and writers would contribute papers/synopsis from different parts of the country and abroad.

The Jatiya Sahitya Prakashan Trust, a NGO, would hold Advasis cultural festival aiming at research oriented development projects.

President of the N E Chapter(celebration committee) Kanak Sen Deka, who is also the president of the Asom Sahitya Sabha, said the objectives of the Trust include promotion of literature, art of national integration and communal harmony.
