In memory of Harivansh Rai Bachchan

Pratapgarh, Mar 5: Noted actress and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan, today inaugurated Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Memorial Library at Babupatti village here.
Babupatti is the native village of Millennium star Amitabh Bachchan, from where his immediate family had moved to Allahabad.
Jaya was accompanied by fellow MP and Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh.
Meanwhile, state higher education minister Ramasray Vishwakarma announced opening of a government degree college in the village.
