Hyderabad police doesn't allow rakhi to perform

Item girl rakhi Sawant has done it again. After being splashed all over the media for her lip lock with Mika, she is in the limelight, all over again. This time she was asked to leave Hyderabad, by the city police. A show featuring Sawant, among others had been organized at Vijaybhaskar Reddy indoor stadium.

Apparently, the organizers did not mention Sawant's name while asking for permission from the police officials. But as soon as the publicity featuring Sawant began, the police put its foot down. They believed that the controversial performer should not be part of the show. They thought her performance could lead to law and order problems. Efforts to obtain permission proved to be futile and rakhi left the city. However, cops arrived at the scene and refused to let her perform.

The show was organized as part of an annual function of a real estate firm. There were about 800 invites. Other performers included Vasundhara Das and Telugu film actresses Sangeetha and Tanu Rai.
