The research was conducted on Tegon, a genetically modified beagle born in Seoul, 2009. The overall research cost has come up $3 million and the outcome is simply unbelievable. The new Tegon glows in dark as and when she has antibiotics.
The beagle is fed with food that contains doxycycline which is a type of antibiotic. The drug is used to treat many illnesses such as Acne, Syphilis etc. Fot the dog to glow, the nucleus of the beagle skin cells is of the sea anemones. The nucleus was injected to the egg cell which was later implanted to the female dog to gestate.
