Most of the shoes we wear pick up foul smells from the bacteria that lives on your feet. These odours tend to get absorbed into shoes, thus omitting the bad smell. Foot odour is stronger than many of the other odours produced by the human body.

In order to keep your shoes from smelling bad, place an old sock filled with kitty litter into the shoe for a day. This will absorb the odours within.

Salt is a good ingredient to keep your shoes fresh and smell-free. Salt is placed in a cover, left in the shoe overnight to remove the stench.
