All the pet lovers in the world would agree that cleaning up home after your pets is even more difficult than cleaning up after your kids. You just can"t scold the poor dears because they are so very innocent and mute. When your dog is growing up you will have to clean lots of pet stains of potty and urine form your house. Not all pets respond as brilliantly to training as dogs do so you need to be prepared to find other means of keeping a clean home despite your pet"s mess.

1. Now the kind of mess you have to clean up depends on the pet you have. If you have a puppy then he will poop on the carpets, if you have cat then the stench of cat urine is unbearable and if you gave turtle then he might walk all over leaving water marks! 2. Most pets have hair that becomes a huge home hygiene issue. If your pet has hair then that hair is going to be shed and float around in your home. Even a potty trained dog will shed hair so there is no escaping it. Some people are allergic to animal hair and it is even otherwise unhealthy to inhale.

3. You home needs a thorough vacuum cleaning every week, twice a week if possible if your dog or cat is in the shedding season. Their hair is so soft and light that it might float into you food too. So dust the furniture and vacuum clean wherever you can (beds, sofas, curtains etc.)

4. As soon as you spot a pet stain, clean it. When the stain is still wet and fresh there are more chances of you getting rid of it. It is a tough job softening animal feces that has hardened even for a couple of hours and the stench is an added prick.

5. Sometimes your pet is like a naughty child; they go and make their mess where you can"t find it immediately and then relish your annoyance later. Find out the favourite hideouts of your. Is it under the bed or a hidden corner of the book shelf? Keep a regular check on these spots to make sure that mess is not being made behind your back.

6. The disinfectant that you use for cleaning pet stains should not be just as foul smelling as the stain itself. Most stain cleaners are ammonia based; avoid them and go for fresh natural cleaners with floral or antiseptic smells.
