Furniture is a must for every household. Specially Sofas, as they provide a cushioning comfort once we are back home after a tiring day. But sofas need to be taken good care as they are expensive pieces and we spend most of our time relaxing on them.

Body sweat, eatables, variation in temperature, humidity etc affect the quality of sofa sets. So just dusting and wiping will not be enough to maintain sofas. 3.Clean the surfaces of the sofa with soft cloth or cotton. Miniscule dust particles can be removed using a wet cloth.

4.For Fur Sofas which cannot be cleaned using brush or detergent, can be maintained using a Vacuum cleaner. Also the dust in corners and cracks which cannot be reached by a duster can be easily cleaned using a vacuum cleaner.

5.Egg white helps in removing all kinds of stains on a leather sofa.

6.Tainted Alcohol is also a good cleaning agent as it removes ball pen marks, grease and ink marks on sofa easily.

7.It is also important to maintain a good ventilation in the room but avoid direct sunlight as this will protect the sofas from fading

8.Fabric sofa sets can be maintained by washing and exposing sofa covers to sunlight for every six months.

9.Advice your kids not to jump and play on sofa to preserve the cushions of the furniture.

10.Avoid eating and drinking on sofa as it may spill and dirty your costly investment.
