Diwali 2021: Beautiful Lamp Decoration Ideas For Outdoor Decoration

Lamp Decoration Ideas For Diwali (Deepavali)
1. If you are not very good at painting or sticking sequins, there are many more easy ways. Purchase gold or silver colour foils and cover lamps completely with the foils. Since Deepavali is a festival of goddess Lakshmi and gold, the lamps dazzle like the yellow metal giving the entire house a palatial look.
2. If you collect pistachio shells, you can stick them on the clay lamps and paint gold, silver or copper colours. The shells make the lamps look bigger and better. The lamp decoration ideas are totally inexpensive but look unimaginably beautiful.
3. The sea shells that you collected in your recent beach tour can also be glued to the lamps. The shells don't even require colouring as the natural pearl-like finish look beautiful.
4. Your old ghagra skirt lace and other zari work can also be made use of. Make frills of the old lace and tie it or bind it (using a cello tape) around the mouth of the lamp. This looks really nice and saves cost.
5. Crush the old newspaper using water and Fevicol (paper pulp). Mould it around the lamp and leave it to dry. Then paint the diyas with different colours and make the entire Diwali decoration a holy Diwali.
These lamp decorations are very useful as the same ideas can be used to decorate pots, utensils for other festivals. Just scrapping out the decoration part and storing them in drawers will help you to come up with new themes year by year.
