Fact #1: Sex As Exercise:
Most people may feel that just going to the gym, running, swimming, etc., are the only forms of exercises, however, even regular everyday activities like household chores and even sex are forms of exercises.

In fact, research studies have found that half an hour of sexual activities can burn about 101 calories in men and about 70 calories in women! So, sex can burn a whole lot of calories, the fun way!

Fact #2: Calories Burnt & Sex:
The amount of calories burnt during sex also depends on how intense the session is. For example, if there is a lot of moving around and changing of positions during sex and it goes on for an hour (including foreplay), a man could burn up to 306 calories and a woman could burn about 200 calories per an hour of intense sexual intercourse and studies show that this is more than the amount of calories burnt on a treadmill in an hour!

Fact #3: What The Research Says:
A team of researchers from the University of Bangor in the United Kingdom, did a comprehensive study where they tested subjects for a period of 2 months. The first group of subjects was exercising without indulging in any form of sexual activity. The second group was exercising, along with regular sex.

The researchers found that the group which was having regular sex fared better at losing weight, compared to the other group. The study says that the hormones released during sex were responsible for boosting a quicker weight loss in people.

Fact #4: Regular Sex Can Prevent Hunger Pangs:
Another study conducted by researchers in Boston, says that regular sex can prevent constant hunger pangs and binge eating. The study says that the oxytocin hormones, also known as the "love hormones", are released in the body during sex. This hormone can curb the appetite to a significant extent, thereby preventing hunger pangs and aiding weight loss.

So, in conclusion, regular lovemaking is one of the best, natural ways to lose weight!
