Though most of the mainstream health experts never agreed with cow urine's therapeutic side, a recent study on rats suggested that cow urine can at least bring down the blood glucose levels. Let us take a look at other benefits of cow-urine.
Note: This post is only for the sake of information. It is NOT recommended to try cow urine unless your doctor allows it. Also, cow urine shouldn't be used as a substitute for any other medicine.

Kills Germs
Cow urine contains properties that can kill germs. Also, it can balance vaata, pitta and kapha doshas. (According to the texts of Ayurveda air, bile and mucus should never go off-the-balance in the human body to maintain good health).

According to some sources, the urine of a cow can also boost liver function. It is also said to slow down your ageing process by replenishing the lost micro-nutrients in the body.

Offers Minerals
Some sources also claim that cow urine can make up for mineral deficiency as it is said to contain copper and gold salts which can prevent certain diseases.

Good For The Brain

Flushes Toxins
It can flush out the remnants of certain medicines which are accumulated inside the body. Toxic residues are said to be cleared when you consume cow urine. It is also said to boost immunity.

Medicinal
The taste of cow urine is slightly bitter, warm but is said to have germicidal action. It is said to be nutrient rich and medicinal in nature.
