Using artificial supplements is very common nowadays. But, there are many serious things that you have to consider while using any artificial supplements. The most important among them are the side effects of artificial supplements. You should understand the pros and cons to make a wise selection.
The active ingredients itself or any artificial toxic contaminants present in the supplements may be harmful. The colouring agents, flavour additives and preservatives in various supplements are strong enough to make you ill.
The side effects of artificial supplements are far more than the benefits that you are expecting from them. The ill effects may result in various complications depending on the dose and duration of the intake. Components like aspartame, saccharin, fructose, and synthetic colours that are present in artificial supplements are not good for your health. Formic acid and formaldehyde formed from the breakdown of aspartame may damage the nerve cells.

One of the important side effects of artificial supplements is gastrointestinal disturbances. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and constipation are the most common side effects of artificial supplements.
