Eat Healthy To Live Long

Charlie and Mabel Northam, still going strong at 89 and 90 respectively, believe they have lived so long because they eat a locally produced onion every day and drink spring water from a nearby hill.
The Northams revealed they ate a couple of fried onions for lunch. Their diet also include locally grown fresh vegetables.
He grows 30 rows of potatoes, spinach and runner beans. "You name it and we grow it. We do not use any chemicals for agriculture,"says a farmer who will turn 90 this year.
It is one of the main reason why people live so long. Shirley Hann, 74, is another resident of the village who believes growing their own vegetables is the key to a long life.
The villagers believe that fresh water and fresh air are good but also good beer and wine might have something to do with their longevity.
