With increasing pollution levels, it has become important for us to be on our toes and take all the necessary measures to minimise the damaging effects of smog.

Taking a holistic approach to fight this apocalyptic level of pollution is really important. Along with taking preventive measures like wearing a mask when you head out of using an air purifier, it is important to incorporate a diet that's healthy for your lungs and other organs that have a higher risk of getting affected.

It is also rich in phytonutrients that protects the body by neutralising free radicals. Drinking turmeric tea or turmeric milk mixed daily is very benefical.

It also helps to get rid of breathing issues, sore throat, lung infection that occurs due to pollution. You can make jaggery tea, jaggery milk, jaggery smoothie, etc.
