1. Cold Compress:
This is the foremost first aid that can be given when you get bruises. It helps in reducing the bruises as well as the inflammation. Just take a few ice cubes, wrap them around in a clean cloth and place it on the bruised area. It helps.

2. Vinegar:
Take a few drops of vinegar, mix it along with warm water, soak a clean cloth and then gently rub the bruises using the cloth. It helps to increase the blood flow and dissipate the blood around the bruises.

3.Witch Hazel:
Known for its astringent properties, witch hazel helps to stimulate the blood flow and helps to heal the bruises quickly. Put a few drops of witch hazel lotion on a cotton ball, apply it over the affected area and hold it on for a few seconds. Do this at least twice a day.

4. Apply Hot Compress:
Applying hot compress over the bruised area helps to get rid of it quickly. Take a clean cloth, soak it in a bowl containing hot water, squeeze a bit and then apply it over the bruises. Do this at least twice a day. It helps to heal the bruises quickly.

5. Parsley:
Take a few parsley leaves, crush them and then apply the paste over the bruises. Wrap it up and then keep it on for about a few hours. This helps to heal the bruises quickly. Parsley is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

6. Massage:
A gentle massage over the bruised area specifically, for 48 hours helps to clear the pooled blood away and ease the bruises quickly.
