The full form of ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It basically means that your attention span is abnormally low and that makes you extremely restless. Although it sounds simple, this disorder can have far reaching consequences. ADHD symptoms are usually easier to detect in children because they are often carefully watched by their parents. Besides ADHD is basically a childhood illness. However, the ADHD symptoms often leaves its traces on adulthood as well.
Sometimes, ADHD symptoms that go undetected in childhood might cause havoc in a person's adult life. Adult ADHD is slightly difficult to deal with. First of all, an adult is usually not monitored for the ADHD symptoms. Secondly, it is very hard to convince an adult that he or she is suffering from the traces of a childhood illness.

A person suffering from ADHD can never relax. You will not see them set back calmly with a mug of coffee. They will either shake their legs, drum their fingers or scribble on a paper.

Being bad listeners often doesn't work out very well in marital life. The spouse of a person suffering from ADHD may take their poor listening skills as insensitivity and think they are deliberately inconsiderate.

Adults with ADHD often have great ideas but they never end up beginning task. They keep procrastinating things for days without any apparent reason.

If a person has an attention deficit disorder he or she will lack patience for very mundane things like waiting at a queue in a supermarket's billing counter, or waiting their turn to speak in a meeting.

Inability To Keep Commitments
Adults who suffer from this disorder find it very hard to keep up their commitments. They often become notorious as guys who do not keep their words.

Losing Things Perpetually
As they lack proper attention in all things, people who suffer from ADHD lose thing perpetually. They end up losing thing like wallet, mobile phones and keys perpetually.
