Never Ignore These Signs Of Heart Stroke
World Stroke Day is a special day that is celebrated on 29th October every year. Heart issues especially strokes are a rising health problem worldwide. On this day, several health associations provide knowledge and support the stroke survivors. World Stroke Day also spreads information on how our lifestyle, eating habits and stress can lead to heart stroke.
Earlier, heart attack was only suffered by people after their mid 40s. But, the modern lifestyle, work pressure, stress and lack of exercises has increased the rate of heart attacks worldwide.

You will suddenly get an attack. That is why, many people do not know the signs of a heart attack. They feel that people faint (filmy style) when they get an attack. The truth is that you can know that your heart is in trouble by warning signs. What are these signs? Find out..
Signs of a heart attack:
Chest Pain: This is one of the first signs of a heart stroke. You will suffer from sudden chest pain. The pain can vary from person to person. You can either feel a tight, squeezing pain or a heavy chest. We often ignore chest pain thinking it is gas. However, do not ignore small warning signs. Consult a doctor and get an ECG done to be on the safer side. Earlier detection is better.
Discomfort in breathing: Apart from chest pain, you will feel discomfort in breathing. You will feel shortage of breathe. Both men and women feel discomfort in breathing before suffering a heart attack. This is because the heart doesn't function properly thus it does not pump in oxygen efficiently. Do not miss this symptom of heart stroke.
Pain in arms, back, jaws, neck: Majority of stroke sufferers have admitted that when they get a sudden attack, the arms, neck, upper back and jaws pain. The symptoms of heart stroke vary from person to person. However, women often suffer from pain in such body parts
Muscle cramp: Painful muscle cramp in thighs, hips and calves while walking, climbing stairs or working out are signs of a heart stroke. Even muscle soreness can be considered as a warning of a heart attack. The muscle cramp or soreness is due to peripheral artery disease (PAD) that occurs due to the blockage of arteries and improper blood circulation.
Fluttering: The feeling of heart fluttering or missing a beat is a warning sign of a heart attack. Also known as arrhythmias, we take this sign very lightly thinking its an effect of ageing. However, long lasting fluttering can affect the blood flow to the lungs, brain and other important body organs. Arrhythmias lasts for a long time and this directly has an impact on the functioning of the heart.
These are a few signs of a heart stroke. If you feel any such symptom, immediately inform your family and consult a doctor. On World Stroke Day, spread the awareness and let people become alert of the rising heart disease.
