Diabetes In Connection To BP And Cholesterol

Adult (or type 2) Diabetes is very often associated with high blood pressure. Recent studies proved very clearly blood pressure control is very important, if not more important than controlling sugar. The current target is 130/80 mm of Hg or less, if you are not controlled by one group of medicine, you should add another. The most important message is your BP should be controlled.
How do I control my Cholesterol?
Cholesterol is the fat in blood, in general you have 50% chance of high cholesterol if you have diabetes. Cholesterol needs to be controlled, initially you need to follow dietary restriction and exercise. If you are obese and can loose weight your cholesterol will come down. You need to repeat in around three months time. If it is high you should start medicine.
