Dental Test
Dental care and diabetes are interlinked. If you are a diabetic and your blood sugar levels are not in control, there are high chances of you developing tooth decay and cavities. The worst part is, it takes a long time to heal. This is the reason why you should pay a visit to your dentist every six months if you are suffering from diabetes.

Nerve Test
Being a diabetic can affect your nerves too. If you experiene some of the symptoms like numbness, loss of bladder control and dizziness, you should undergo diagnostic tests like EMG (electromyogram) and NCS (nerve conduction study). These tests will determine if the nervous system is working well.

Kidney Test
Diabetes also affects the kidneys. When your blood sugar level increases, it might damage the blood vessels in your kidney too. This results in the failure of kidneys. Some of the diabetic tests you should undergo to test the proper functioning of kidneys are Urinalysis, Urea Clearance Test and Renal Ultrasound Tests.

Lipid Profile

Eye Checkups
Uncontrolled blood sugar levels will damage the blood vessels in the retina called diabetic retinopathy. Take the diabetic retinopathy test to make sure your eyes are safe from problems like glaucoma and cataract.
