#CheckOut The Most Beautiful Sarees In 2016
Take a quick look at our list of favourite Bollywood sarees in 2016.
Sarees are essential to an Indian woman. We may not wear it often but it still occupies major space in our wardrobes. The weddings, functions and other traditional functions, we always like to show off our saree collection.
2016 was the year of saree. Bollywood fashionistas, time and again, donned beautiful sarees and gave us the pleasure to cover them. Since it's the year end and our wedding season, our love for sarees is overflowing and we have decided to list our favourite saree moments in 2016.
This year, Bollywood actresses have given us some of the most beautiful saree lookbooks and we are eager to share them with you.

Alia Bhatt In Manish Malhotra
Shimmer and see-through inserts of this saree are mind blogging.
Smokey eyes, mid-parted hair bun and black bindi, everything was on point with this saree lookbook. Also, the first time ever when Alia was seen donning a saree - outside of movies.

Sridevi In Sabysachi
The delicate work around the border and addition of red velvet make it look regal.
This year was the year of Sabyasachi sarees for Sridevi.

Vidya Balan In Uddstories
The colours of summer. A perfect cotton saree for hot summer days. Vidya looked a perfect Bong girl with her big bindi and jhunmkas.

Madhuri Dixit In Anita Dongre
The grace and elegance of this saree are phenomenal. Madhuri only amplified its appeal.

Neha Dhupia In Anavila
The monochrome magic of metallic colours. First time ever we saw how these colours can be worn in sarees too. Neha pepped up the look rose bun and aboxy clutch.

Bipasha Basu In Sabyasachi
It was the year of Sabysachi. This sheer black saree with embellished floral work is too gorgeous to handle.

Kajol In Anavila
The checkered red saree worn with a Bong look. Kajol surely stole our hearts by wearing this saree during Durga puja.

Kalki In Ritu Kumar
The royal silk saree westernised by Kalki. Instead of traditional draping, Kalki matched it with a shirt and draped it in an offbeat style.

Katrina Kaif In Manish Malhotra
A bright red saree with an accentuated pallu drape! Who wouldn't want to wear this look?

Jacqueline In Jade
A beautiful pink silk saree matched a contrasting orange blouse. Jacqueline wore it well with a gajra bun and heavy jewellery.

Kajol In Sabysachi
Again, a Sabyasachi edition. A black velvet blouse flashing Mughal building adds royalty in itself. The black blouse is paired with a simple white saree with aheavy border.

Sonam Kapoor In Nikasha
This saree is offbeat and unconventional. The saree was the talk of the town post Bipasha Basu's reception. Sonam as always earned her fashion points like a diva.

Tamannaah Bhatia In Nikasha
We loved this saree because of its graceful blouse and its neckline. The entire addition of a crewneck collar with a solid red saree is marvellous.

Sonam Kapoor In Sabyasachi
Sonam popularised the gajra trend once again with this beautiful saree. White beads border tailored with a floral print saree. Not bad.

Madhuri In Ritu Kumar
We instantly fell in love with Madhuri intricately designed royal silk saree. Isn't it just too gorgeous?

Parineeti Chopra In Jade
Parineeti looked like a beautiful bride in this Jade silk saree.

Aishwarya Rai In Swati & Sunaina
Aish wore this beautiful red saree for a royal dinner and sure looked royal.
