Holy Wow! Padmaja Takes Over The Lakme Fashion Week Stage Like It's No Big Deal
If we are not wrong, Padmaja is the next Pero. This one of those labels you see and you instantly fall in love with it.
Padmaja label hails from Amchi Mumbai. As mentioned earlier, Day 2 of LFW is dedicated to Indian handloom industry and Padmaja is participating in this category.
While Pella showed us some bohemian ensembles, Padmaja brought some modernised handloom outfits. In this collection, you'll come across a beautiful array of chic attires. We are calling it the schoolgirl charm.
The collection has a hint of 60s fashion with the addition of dungarees and peter pan collars. It is dominated by solid hues grey, white, blue and beige. You'll also come across checks and stripes.
Dungarees, jumpsuits, petticoat, skirts are a few highlights of the collection. Let's take a quick look at our favourite picks from the collection...
A V-neck grey poncho sleeve top paired with a checkered skirt with an accentuated scarf...

Jumpsuit cannot get any prettier than this. The addition of white lace is highly admirable.

Denim dress, anyone? If it looks like this, hell yes...

Old school charm with a navy blue dress and tan shirt...

Can this be cuter?

Dungarees are just plain delightful...

Wait. We have a reserved seat for this chic dress too.

Add a Rastafarian touch to your wardrobe with this one...

Go bohemian...

Checks never looked so gorgeous before...

How about an asymmetric top with culottes?

A simple dress with accentuated pockets will also do.

Coming up next... you favourite designer in handloom category, Anavila.
