The collections that have been displayed on the ramp of day 1 at the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 Summer Resort are truly fascinating.

What we love the most is the collaboration of prints and patterns each of the designers have put into. Today, we got to see vivid prints from Quirkbox and we also said hello to colours that ruled in the ramp by the five talented designers from Gen Next.

Therefore, we decided to pep things up with Huemn's collection. This line is completely different since it pays tribute to the evolution of our species into an urban force to be reckoned with.

Powerful and self-assured with an eccentric edge and a raw sensuality, this play of unusual mixes in mood, texture and layering forms the basis of this narrative that we're inspired by.

The layering of each ensemble gives an old-world gangster vibe to the collection, with rich separates in neo-retro silhouettes. This mood flirts with a subtle sports luxe flavour in detailing.

A Touch Of Gold

This complete black outfit has a touch of gold as piping. We are amazed with the art at the bodice.
